Almond butter!

This rich nut butter is filled with the delicious goodness of almonds! Rich, creamy, with a tinge of roasted kick, almond butter will go with everything from celery sticks to toast.

In almonds, we trust!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups whole almonds
  • Pinch of salt

Recipe

  • Roast the almonds until they are golden brown. You can roast them in a pan or in an oven.
  • Once the roasted almonds have cooled down, put them in a high powered blender and blend for 45 seconds.
  • Stop blending and scrape down the almond meal from the side of the jar and add a pinch of salt. Blend again for another 30 seconds.
  • Continue blending in intervals of 30 seconds until you get a creamy texture. If the almonds are not getting creamy, add half a teaspoon of olive oil to the mixture and blend until it reaches the right consistency.

Sweetener option- Honey adds the right amount of sweetness to almond butter without overpowering the taste.

Storage tips- You can store the almond butter in sealed glass jars for up to 2 weeks in the fridge and one week at room temperature.

Cashew butter
