My husband’s family members are huge movie buffs. So much so that, there is an established Sunday-evening ritual where the whole family comes together and watches a movie before bed while munching on some super-greasy appetisers! Cute, huh?
So, it did not come as a surprise to me when my mother-in-law suggested the name ‘Huma’ (after Huma Quereshi – the actress) for my eldest, and the whole family did a happy dance!

Needless to say, I most definitely also suggest my own kids’ names – Muraad (which means desire) and Huma (which means ‘daughter of King Bahman’).
